- WESTCONNEX-M4 AND M4. SMART MOTORWAY
Working with Ventia (Visionstream): AZ Connect were engaged due to our end to end capabilities to undertake works for the Intelligent Transport System for the Westconnex M4 and M4 Smartmotorway. The scope of works was to install new PVC pipe, new Pits and Manholes, new Fibre optic cable, Electrical and Data cable, Optical fibre testing, Commissioning, PTZ and SVD cameras, VSLS signs, CCTV poles, Roadside cabinets, Distribution boards and Road sensors for the entire route. AZ Connect completed over 100km of fibre cable installation just within the Westconnex Tunnel alone. The project was incident free and deliverded on time and within budget. After Handover there wer no defects issued by the prinecipal contractor.
